Small businesses are the backbone of Kentucky’s economy, from the corner store to the family distillery. Too often, Washington writes the rules for big corporations and leaves Main Street to pay the price. I will:
- Fight the tariff costs that squeeze small businesses on supplies and inventory.
- Expand access to affordable capital through SBA lending and community lenders, with a focus on rural and underserved communities.
- Cut red tape and simplify federal paperwork for employers with fewer than 50 workers.
- Make it easier for small employers to offer health coverage through a public option.
- Stand up to corporate consolidation and junk fees that let giant chains undercut local businesses.
