Meet Charles

Charles Booker is a lifelong Kentuckian, a former state representative, and the son of a West Louisville family that knows what it means to go without. He grew up rationing insulin and watching neighbors get left behind by leaders who stopped showing up.

He built a movement that reaches from the hood to the holler: Black, white, and brown Kentuckians who share the same struggle and the same demand: healthcare, good jobs, and leaders who fight for people instead of corporations.

Why I'm running

Kentucky deserves a senator who fights poverty like the emergency it is. Too many families are one medical bill, one layoff, or one storm away from losing everything, while Washington protects the people already at the top.

This campaign is about ending that. Healthcare as a human right. Union jobs in every county. Clean water and clean air. A politics grounded in the dignity of the people it serves.
