LOUISVILLE, KY — Following an endorsement from former President Barack Obama, eyes have increasingly turned to Charles Booker’s U.S. Senate campaign in Kentucky. In addition to extensive national and statewide press coverage, including in Associated Press, CBS News, and The Courier-Journal, leading political commentators are chiming in.
The former president’s endorsement, as well as those of high-profile Governors, Senators, and members of the U.S. House of Representatives, have made clear what Kentuckians have known all along: this seat is in play, and the Commonwealth is ready for change.
This follows previous social amplification from top political influencers and accounts, including COURIER, Nathan Jun, and Elizabeth Booker Houston, which have reached millions of combined followers to help Booker spread his message across Kentucky and the country.
Booker will spend Election Eve making a final push on the trail, including a meet-and-greet at Kentucky State University, and connecting with voters who are ready to put people over politics and common sense over corruption.

- “Kentucky is my home. Kentucky is who I am. Kentucky will always be an intrinsic part of my identity. And that’s why I ran for Congress: to give Kentucky a better shot at a more equitable and just future. That future is still within grasp and together, we will make that future a reality. And that’s why on Tuesday, I am voting for @booker4ky and @zachdembo. I’ve knocked hundreds of doors for them both as well as other candidates at the local and state level.”

- “For anyone following the Kentucky Senate race... Tonight our local, very small, very rural high school is hosting a candidate debate. (It's a student led and student monitored debate.) It's a really big deal. Local offices and statewide offices. Andy Barr will not be there. Charles Booker will. I am assuming it's because Barr assumes that he's already won our area. The fact that Booker is coming even without a debate partner speaks volumes.”

- “Kentucky, let's talk about Charles Booker and Andy Barr. Charles Booker grew up in poverty, understands the cost of living with Type 1 diabetes, and served in the Kentucky legislature. He supports higher wages, expanded healthcare, protecting Medicaid, and strengthening Social Security and Medicare. Andy Barr has been in Congress since 2013. He supported legislation cutting federal Medicaid spending, favors tax cuts and deregulation, and receives contributions from corporate and industry PACs.”
