LOUISVILLE, KY — Finally, the day has arrived for Kentucky to select its next U.S. Senator and the successor to Mitch McConnell. Democratic nominee Charles Booker has enjoyed a late surge of momentum following a series of high-profile endorsements, including from President Obama, a dominant debate performance against opponent Andy Barr, and an aggressive Kentucky Over Politics Tour that took him all across the Commonwealth, connecting with voters on the most important issues.

Today, Booker is completing his statewide Kentucky Over Politics Tour with visits to several polling locations across the state, where he will join volunteers and participate in sign-waving. This evening, he will watch the results and give a speech to supporters and staff at the Louisville Democratic Party’s watch night at The Galt House. Given the breadth of his coalition, consisting of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans, a number of Booker supporters will also be celebrating from an intimate gathering at the Booker for the Commonwealth campaign’s Louisville headquarters.

After 11 months on the campaign trail, spreading his “Kentucky First” message of people over politics and common sense over corruption, Booker encourages each and every Kentuckian to exercise their right to vote and looks forward to celebrating the results.
