Charles Booker Unveils “Kentucky First” Prosperity Agenda: A New Economic Vision for Every Kentuckian
LOUISVILLE, KY — With just over one month to go until Election Day, Charles Booker, Kentucky’s Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, rolled out his Kentucky First agenda, putting common sense over corruption and people over politics, centering the needs of all Kentuckians. With Booker in the Senate, he will address the exploding costs of gas, groceries, and healthcare, while rooting out corruption in Washington and refocusing the federal government on delivering for the people they serve.
Booker’s Kentucky First Agenda Includes:
Lowering the costs for Kentuckians
Stopping the construction of AI Data Centers
Addressing corruption and drain the DC Swamp
Making healthcare affordable and accessible for all Kentuckians
Ending the war in Iran and reasserting Congress’s role in national defense
Supporting Kentucky’s farmers, older residents, young people, and the most vulnerable
“I am ready to work with anyone, Democrat, Republican, or independent, to help address the biggest issues facing Kentuckians right now,” said Charles Booker. “For decades, Kentuckians have lacked the representation they deserve in the U.S. Senate. Voters know Mitch McConnell stopped delivering for Kentucky long ago, and his spawn, Andy Barr, would maintain the status quo that’s leaving Kentucky further behind. We can't afford another six years of failed leadership, but that won’t happen under my watch. Kentuckians know that when I’m in the Senate, they won’t have a senator giving generic floor speeches, disappearing for months at a time, or failing to deliver lower costs and less corruption. We are going to put common sense over corruption and people over politics, while leading on efforts to lower costs for all Kentuckians, end senseless wars, stop building data centers in our backyards, and finally put Kentucky First.”
In the coming days, Booker will barnstorm across Kentucky meeting with voters and sharing his vision for a Kentucky First agenda that works to lower costs for Kentuckians, protect our shared values, and hold the corrupt accountable.
