Kentucky is open for business, but we are not for sale. Big Tech companies continue to think they can barge into our state, build data centers in our backyards, jack up our utility costs, and harm the environment. Any industry that comes to Kentucky needs to center our people, and we’re not seeing that from data centers.
That’s why I support a national moratorium on all new AI data centers. We shouldn't build new data centers until we fully understand what they’re doing to our water, our utility bills, and our health.
